'Flame Stitch' is the reverse variegation of H. ventricosa 'Aureomarginata'. The difficulty in propagation assures that this will never be a widespread cultivar, although we find that plenty of sun makes it grow much faster. The creamy white leaves are bordered with an irregular edge of dark green. In late summer, the 2' wide clumps are topped with 30" scapes of large, dark purple,
