Quickly adapted by general infantry and pretty much anyone that could get their hands on one, used all the way into the Vietnam era. This is a great 1962 dated example of a Cheek pad used with the M1 D and M1 C sniper rifle. It is marked MRT 6 62 and is in good overall condition, still retaining the leather thong tied between the
