Crocanthemum carolinianum Goldtender Remusatia Viola pedata has reportedly edible(aka: Helianthemum carolinianum) We are pleased to share our 2024 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of the little known, floriferous native (East Texas to NC), Crocanthemum carolinianum 'Goldtender'. Our original 1998 seed collection from a mowed highway right of way in NC's Pender County, has been a star in our dry, full sun gravel rock garden for the last few decades. For us, flowering begins in late March, and continues through most of the summer.
