This is an example of a early war produced Type I version of the legendary Luftwaffe Fallschirmjger Messer, or German air force paratrooper knife (FJM or FKm). It is in good condition, however the blade has definitely been used (maybe abused) and sharpened roughly on both sides, which has unfortunately removed the original maker markings.
