India General Service. 1854. Griffin Near uncirculatedThis medal is renamed in antiquity to 43642 Gunner J Griffin. 4th Battery 1st Brigade Lancashire Division Royal Artillery. It has a fitted bar Burma 1885 87 and a loose fitted bar Burma 1887 89. Gunner Griffin appears on the medal role and is entitled to the medal and at least the first bar, so this is a genuine re name and not a fantasy item. Original ribbon. Very fine.
