Chochin Lamp 03 - Mari Clothing otherworldly illustrationsHandcrafted by Asano Shoten in Japans Gifu Prefecture, the Chochin Lamp 03 Mari reinterprets the traditional Japanese paper lantern through a contemporary lens. Made using premium Mino washi paper and a spiralled bamboo rib structure, each lamp is formed by hand using wooden moulds. The bamboo frame is carefully wrapped, glued and papered panel by panel a labour intensive process refined over generations of lantern making. Named Mari (), meaning ball,
