Original U.S. Revolutionary War - Federal Period Officer’s Sword with Partial Scabbard & Fluted Horn Grip - Circa 1790 U.S. Edged Weapons Medio Fino model violins wereOriginal Item. Only One Available. This is a tremendous Officers sword dating from the American Revolutionary War to the Federal Period, around 1790, with most of its original scabbard. This lovely example has a stirrup style hilt with a fluted dark horn grip and suspension ring hanging from the brass guard. This would have been utilized by an officer of infantry. The sword features a straight 29 blade with a single fuller and false edge, which is in
