Dasylirion wheeleri Apache Junction Spring ephemerals in slightly moist soils(aka Dasylirion wheeleri KJS 334) This selection of Wheeler's sotol is from a Kenton Seth seed collection west of Apache Junction, AZ, where it grows on red sandstone among scrubby pines and junipers. These seeds are from a population with smaller than normal heads of powder blue foliage.
