Constructed of a patinated zink alloy, the obverse consisting of a Silesian style German national eagle clutching a silvered banner bearing an inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA) in its talons, overlaid across the chest by a silvered crescent and cross, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 31. 41 mm (w) x 42. 33 mm (h),
