Original Antique Dutch Model 1873 Army Revolver by P. Stevens of Maastricht in 9.4mm - Serial 1448 Hotchkiss MG which is also marked onOriginal Item: Only One Available. These are very unusual to find especially in any sort of select condition as this one is. First issued in 1873, this Model saw much service in the Dutch East Indies as a very reliable black powder revolver. The early examples were fitted with octagonal barrels as our one has but these were later changed to round barrels for ease of manufacture. The design is based heavily on the French service revolver Modle 1873
