Constructed of thick black wool, with fold down scalloped panels to the front and side. The front of the cap features two insignia, a Waffen SS eagle constructed of white machine embroidery that is clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, and a second pattern skull, also manufactured of white machine embroidery. As is the requirement with second pattern (or later used issued) overseas caps, this cap does not feature a pink
