A 1934 Cologne German Colonial Exhibition Commemorative Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac crossed swords on four of(Deutsche Kolonial Ausstellung Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of brass, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition. Footnote: Organized by the Reichskolonialbund, the July September 1934 German Colonial Exhibition in Cologne fueled historical revisionism of the former Germany Empire's colonial ventures, and demanded the return of former colonies to German control.
