For us, Ilex 'Adorned' has made an 18" tall x 5' wide evergreen mound in 10 years with NO pruning. Each leaf is bright gold with a small green fleck in the middle. We think Ilex 'Adorned' is a superb rock garden plant in addition to being a bright addition to your foundation plantings.
