Bavaria, Kingdom. A Landwehr Long Service Badge, I Class, C.1890 GTRexclude with very early CEJ in(Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung I. Klasse). Instituted 21 January 1876 by King Ludwig II. (1876 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with a central raised monogram of King Ludwig II, the reverse with a raised number 20 in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 38. 49 mm (w) x 40. 32 mm (h), weighing 23. 3 grams, in better than very fine condition.
