Constructed of silvered tombak, of two piece construction, consisting of a laurel and oak wreath tied together at the base via three ribbons, with a large eagle clutching a mobile swastika superimposed on the badge, the reverse plain, with two rivets securing the eagle to the wreath, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked on reverse with the logo of Gebrder Schneider, Vienna, measuring 64.
