Constructed of patinated bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER 1939 (DISTRICT CHAMPION 1939), maker marked H. AURICH, DRESDEN A. 16 for the firm of Hermann Aurich,
