A 1916 Verdun Commemorative Medal certificate_of_authenticity mounted circa 1875 Prussian styleA 1916 Verdun Commemorative Medal Silver, hallmarked and marked "ARGENT" (silver) on the rim, engraver marked "S. E VERNIER 1917" on the obverse, 36. 8 mm, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, embossed "VERDUN" on the lid, recessed medal bed, case very fine. Accompanied by its Letter of Authenticity from the Town Council of Verdun, ripped along foldmarks, document fine.
