An Order of the Star of the People’s Republic, IV Class in Case consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac measuring 184x266Type I, 1948 Issue. A scarce decoration, in silvered enamels, featuring a red and blue enamelled five point star with clusters of smooth rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion presenting the monogram RPR, reverse bearing the date 30 DECEMBRE 1947, numbered 729 on the 7 oclock arm, measures 46. 7 mm (w) x 53. 0 mm (h), on original ribbon, light, remains extremely fine.
