Original U.S. Civil War Era .31cal Percussion Volley Trap Pistol by North & Couch circa 1860 ERA This has an American flagOriginal Item: Only One Available. Made by NORTH & COUCH of Middleton in Connecticut and patented on June 29th 1859. These are very unusual and now quite rare. Intended for either personal defense or to be used as a "TRAP GUN" it is constructed utilizing SIX clustered . 31 Caliber barrels that discharge all at once in one volley. The weapon resembling a revolver has a percussion hammer and a sheathed trigger that can be discharged by hand.
