Although this item has some stamped markings, there do not appear to be any NSDAP stampings visible, which of course may have been deliberately removed. This item, along with large quantities of other MG 34 material, were purchased post war by Israel, who understandably scrubbed away the German markings. Nevertheless this is a 6 1 2" tall mounting to fit onto an MG 34 and MG13 that slotted into a 1" hole on the body
