This is a nice example of the Mauser Model 1871 Infantry Rifle, manufactured by Amberg Arsenal in what was then the kingdom of Bavaria in the German Empire. It is covered with Imperial German inspection and acceptance markings, even on the wood stock. It bears serial number 41169 on the Barrel, Receiver, Bolt, Butt plate, and in other places as well as the shorter 1169. We would definitely consider this an "all
