An Order of the Swords, I Class Commander Breast Star, c.1915 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Measuring 208 mm (w) xInstituted February 23, 1748 by King Frederick I. In silver, a four armed star with faceted arms and ball finials, the center medallion presents a blue enamel field with three Gold crowns and a Gold sword in the middle, the reverse presents a vertical pinback, unmarked, measures 77. 90mm (w) x 77. 4mm (h), weighs 62. 9 grams, small chip in the blue enamel near the 9 oclock crown, lovely patina, remains in very fine condition.
