both immigrants from Solingen in Germany
She spent April 1945 escorting convoys in Danish waters before making one voyage to rescue refugees in East Prussia in May
This is a pristine example of a rare and impressive optical instrument made just before the Second World War
(remaining attached to the 482d Bomb Group) and moved to RAF Watton (Station 376)
