Juan Licas Coronado sculpts Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in the manger, detailing the folds of their garments and their serene features. The three kings kneel with gifts for the Christ child, while a gentle donkey and cow complete the ensemble. Huamanga is quarried in the central sierra of Peru; its texture and color are similar to alabaster. Titled 'Nacimiento' in Spanish.
