An ovular badge constructed of silvered tombac, the obverse bears a helmet with a swastika superimposed over two upwards facing crossed swords on a pebbled background, encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, the reverse bears a vertical pinback with squared flat catch, marked 30, measuring 36. 46 mm (w) x 43. 90 (h), weighing 25. 4, very fine.
