Constructed of silver, consisting of a plain, non serrated blade set within a finely decorated handle, with one side bearing the monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the other side bearing a Hohenzollern imperial eagle, the blade stamped with a crescent moon and crown indicating German manufacture, a silver content number of 800, and a mark of D. VOLLGOLD & SOHN for the Berlin based silversmith, measuring 222 mm in length, weighing
