This is a wonderful condition Imperial German late 19th Century Miniature Model 1889 Infantry Officer sword and scabbard, with a very nice etched and gilded blade. The sword measures 11 1 8 inches with a blade of 8 3 4 inches long. Aside from just a bit of the tip of the blade missing, it is in great shape. It looks to have been given out in 1899 during a celebration of "Kaiser Day" in Solingen, which is in the heart
