we estimate this revolver was made in April or May of 1864
This started life as and OPERATION TORCH invasion American Flag armband but it was later converted for use by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force Military Police (SHAEF MP’s)
Original Item: During WW1 the standard issue for every MG08 Machine Gun machine gun was four spare
but we would assume that the difficulty of aiming properly without hitting people was an issue
