A 1914 Iron Cross Wall Plaque Hold (Militär-Verdienstkreuz VIA 1914 Iron Cross Wall Plaque constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse is concave and blackened with a central W, the 12 oclock arm with a crown and the 6 oclock arm with the date 1914, bordered with gild and oak leaves lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is marked GES GESCHUTZT and bears a loop for hanging, measuring 116 mm (w) x 116 mm (h), extremely fine.
