This is a fantastic piece of porcelain designed by Fritz Diller in 1914, depicting an Imperial German hussar in uniform with his rifle in hand and sword to his side, aside his horse on an oval plinth. The plinth is inscribed F. Diller for designer Fritz Diller. The bottom of the piece is marked: Rosenthale Kunst Abreilung Selb Bavaria 1914 (IRON CROSS) 1916 The porcelain measures 5 tall and the oval plinth is 2 x 5 .
