Germany, Kriegsmarine. A U-Boat War Badge, Variation 2, by Schwerin Province of China 32 Griße 50 cm x(U Boot Kriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika with cut out arms, overlaid by a central U Boat situated on a hollow void, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by
