The subject matter makes the compact highly collectible Cupid stands in a gorgeous wood having just fired the arrow. We have made no attempt to clean the antique vanity so glorious is the deep dark patina it has acquired over the last 100 years. The lid is finely engraved with great attention to detail. The sides & base are decorated with a guilloche pattern. The base is signed ARTES. All clasps & hinges
