This is a very nice late Cold War Soviet Collapse era (1987 dated) Russian Naval Ensign of the Soviet Union. This design was first instituted in 1950, replacing a very similar flag in service since 1935, which had much larger insignia in the field. This wonderful canvas or linen flag measures roughly 53 x 80 inches, the perfect size for a Cold War Wall display. The flag is white, with a blue bar on the bottom,
