French Revolutionary Wars Officer's Gorget Archive composed of male descendants ofOf late 19th Century manufacture, base in brass, with a white finished leather backer, measuring 143 mm (w) x 57 (h), upper incorporating a 53 mm (w) x 53. 5 mm (h) silvered copper eagle insignia that is secured in place via two prongs on the underside, die holes placed on either side, each of which has a gold coloured bullion button with a tie, silvering wear evident on the eagle insignia, wear and soiling on the leather backer, very fine.
