Original U.S. New England Flintlock Fowling Piece with British Birmingham Proofed Barrel - circa 1770 Century this piece measures a "normal"Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely example of a New England Pre Revolutionary War Fowling piece. Most likely assembled using a British "Trade" Lock, this hunting gun also has a British barrel, bearing proofs from the Gun making city of Birmingham. It also is marked WS & Co. between the proof marks, which we have not been able to identify. Probably one of the multitude of gunsmiths in the Birmingham area. The musket is all brass
