Original U.S. WWI Era Model 1913 Cavalry Saber Patton Sword by L.F. & C - Dated 1919 Scandinavian Militaria - Distinguished Flying Cross inOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition WWI era production Model 1913 Cavalry Saber. Unlike most we have seen, it was not made by Springfield Armory, but instead by private contractor Landers, Frary & Clark (L. F. & C.) of New Britain, CT., who also made the 1917 and Mark 1 pattern "Trench" knuckle knives. This example is marked on the ricasso with: U. S. (Eagle) NO12 and on the reverse with: L. F. & C. (Flaming Bomb) 1919
