Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Panzer Em/Nco’s M40 Overseas Cap Auction Archive documenting the various awards issued(Waffen SS Schiffchen M40 fr Mannschaften der Panzertruppe). A well preserved Waffen SS Panzer EM NCOs M40 overseas cap, constructed of black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which gently slope toward the front. The peak bears the unmistakable outline of an SS style German national eagle insignia which has been carefully removed from the cap, with no consequent disturbance of the base material.
