Germany, Heer. An Officer’s M43 Field Cap Hold of which sixteen were fueled(Heer Feldmtze fr Offiziere). A very well preserved Heer Officers M43 field cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by scalloped fold down side panels offering partial neck and ear protection which, when not in use, are rolled up and secured in place with two pebbled magnetic metal buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left flap.
