This is a great example of a WWII era leather Beretta sub machine gun sling, as used with the Italian MP 38A, 38 42 and 38 44 SMG series. These were used by both Italian and German forces during WWII. This example has a green painted finish over the original light brown, most likely to help with camouflage. Condition is very good, and it has an Italian "Fascia" marking stamped on the reverse below the buckle, indicating use by
