Asarum campaniflorum Leprechaun Cut Flower Plants Our 16-year-old clump of the(aka: Asarum campaniforme) Asarum campaniflorum 'Leprechaun' is a Plant Delights Nursery selection of the wild ginger, described in 2004, from the bamboo filled slopes below 1,000' elevation in China's Hubei Province. We've grown this clone of Asarum campaniflorum in our shade garden since 2000, even before it was published. Asarum campaniflorum has amazingly elegant flowers which poke out from beneath the evergreen foliage in late winter early
