Constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Totenkopf, topped by an SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika executed in identical machine embroidery, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Ewald Vorsteher, Wuppertal (BeVo), measuring 78 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in unissued and mint
