The cap is fully surrounded by stylized side walls which are trimmed along the seam with red piping. Pinned onto the lower peak is an enameled HJ insignia, measuring 15 mm (w) x 25 mm (h) and marked on the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and makers code of M1 100 for Werner Redo, Saarlautern.
