Polished Desert Sunset DS167 stand ups South AmericaDS167 Desert Sunset slab, polished on one side. Dimensions at widest points approximately 150 mm x 70 mm x 8 mm thick. Weighs 194 grams. Desert Sunset is a banded iron formation that is comprised of alternating layers of red and yellow jasper and chert with narrow bands of black hematite. It comes from near Fields Find, a small abandoned gold mining centre in the Midwest region of Western Australia.
