It is fully surrounded by fold down side panels which are gently scalloped at the front. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark green rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered bright yellow Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 65 mm (w) x 26 mm
