This is really Special. This lovely Flintlock Pistol that dates to 1800 to 1820 originates from the Ottoman Empire that today we refer to as Turkey although at that time the Empire embraced much of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and across Northern Africa. This type and style of pistol is also very typical of the weapons used by the Barbary Pirates, who operated out of North Africa. This pistol clearly belonged to
