Germany, Luftwaffe. A General’s Breast Eagle consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 1945 in Ottawa(Luftwaffe Brustadler fr Generle). Constructed of dark blue grey wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered gold bullion wire Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a partially intact black paper liner, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, a scarce Generals insignia in uniform removed and near extremely fine condition.
