Original Early 19th Century French Double Barrel 26 Bore Flintlock Pistol by Barbey of Paris - circa 1810 German Military Maps but unfortunately appears to haveOriginal Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely French Double Barrel Flintlock pistol, made very much in the "Versailles" style, with a grip that flares out at the very bottom, and some lovely engraved iron fittings. This style was developed by famed gunsmith Nicolas Nol Boutet, and they were very popular during the Napoleonic Period with French officers. Even after the wars were over, the style remained very popular. This example is marked on the
