Germany, Weimar Republic. A Veterans’ Organization Flag Pole Finial Hold with a loop creating a(Kriegerverein Fahnenspitze). Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, consisting of a teardrop shaped frame surrounding a central 1914 Iron Cross II Class (executed in silver and magnetic iron), itself surrounded by a semi circular laurel and oak leaf wreath, emanating from a hollow stem with a single side eyelet for the accommodation of a rivet to attach the finial to an accompanying pole, unmarked, measuring 9. 5 cm (w) x 16. 5 cm (h),
