This is a very good condition WWI Imperial German Model 1894 Hebel flare pistol. These were manufactured by many different companies, not all of which can be identified from the markings along. This example is serial marked 14916 on the left side of the frame and on the underside of the barrel latch. Also the screws and pins are mostly marked with shortened serial number 16. There is a maker mark next to the serial
